It’s a Savin’ Stampede!
Following the overwhelming positive response to our Tonto and Lone Ranger , we have just acquired the above series of Del Monte Round Up posters. Similarly campy and fun, these rodeo-centric posters are true vintage gems. Printed by Del Monte in 1965, this complete series was used in supermarkets around the United States to advertise the canning company’s “Round-Up” Campaign. Starting in the 1940s and appearing biannually, Del Monte took advantage of the popular iconographies of cowboys and the West to encourage customers to ’round-up’ on canned peaches and veggies. This usually accompanied a sale on the goods; further encouragement for customers to buy in bulk.
We love this series as a set as well as individually, and have several sets in stock.
Perfectly priced at $350 for the small vertical posters and $550 for the larger horizontal piece, they are a no-brainer for holiday gift-giving and work well in several different environments.
Buy the whole set for only $1500!
Wonderful in an Arts and Crafts style cozy den, a fun midcentury kitchen, or a child’s playroom; the possibilities truly are endless for these Del Monte Round-Up pieces.
